I'm Back

Hi Guys
some will remember me, I certainly remember some of the names here Giobus, Rhinosoft, JPTBird and DaveG from the old TBird Forum
Anyway Dave contacted me to say this forum is up and running . I'm in Sydney and a few mates and I all own Thunderbirds well Flairbirds to be exact. we broke away from TOCA NSW a couple of years ago and we do our own thing we've had 3 new guys join recently so there's now 10 of us and It's a great little cruise group. You guys might remember we lost Jonesy in a car accident mid 2012, well about three months later his youngest son 17 years old committed suicide. Not a good time at all.
Not sure if you remember there was a young couple Jules & Rick who were getting married and wanted Thunderbird wedding cars, we managed to make that happen and Rick loves the Birds so much he recently purchased a 65 bird in need of some (Lots) of work we've all jumping in to help him get it up and running. especially Gary Phsycochicken as he calls himself, the plan was to have it going for January but we had to find another Cruiseomatic the one in the car has no 3rd gear. the new trans will go in the car on Saturday and they'll be joining our group for a cruise to the Blue Mountains on Sunday for a Picnic.
Anyway, great being back on the Forum keep up the good work I'll email the other Desperados to jump in and say gidday.

i wasnt sure if that email was still relevant or not. How's it all going up there, The Desperados wasn't it That's sad news about the young fella. Hows the mum coping.
Well we've got that club up and running now Jets Classic & Custom Car Club, have a look at the website http://www.jetscarclub.com/index.html. we've got some real nice cars in the club, It's pre75 Chrome Bumper American. with the occasional Aussie classic as well.
Tell the other Desperados to jump in and say gidday. Talk soon mate.

Always a bonus to have more flairs on the scene. Welcome back 'Tear-Aways'. Very sad news about Jonesy & his son, hell of a weight for the family to carry.
