Hello all, just found this site
Hello, just stumbled on the site while playing on the internet looking at T Bird stuff. Been into T Birds since when I was a kid and between my father and myself have had 35-40 of them, everything from a 57 up through a 2004. Had some very nice ones and some not so well but tried to save as many as possible. Only have a few left now, I have a 65 hardtop, a 80 Silver Anniversary and a 83 Heritage. A few years ago had 6 '65 Special Landau's here, 5 emberglo and 1 whimbeldon white. Anyway hope this site continues and will try to put up some pics of what I have soon.

Hi Dan
Would be great to see some pics and hear some stories.
Things are very quiet on the Forum at the moment, Winter means little car movement so not much to talk about, anyway most will come out of hibernation over the next few weeks, so the Forum traffic should increase. Where are you from, I'm guessing if you've owned that many Birds you are in the USofA. Welcome mate Great to have you onboard.

Hey Dan,
Glad you stumbled into our Thunderbird Forum.
Welcome on board.
We look forward to some of your photos and stories that go with the 35-40 TBirds you have owned.
I guess that means we now have 'Thunderbird Royalty' among our Forum members.

I am on the other side of the world from you guys in the US. I will post up some pics in awhile. Its amazing to me to see how many of these cars have made it all over the world. I used to have a few parts cars and have sent parts all over so they live on in every corner of the planet I guess

Hey maybe you guys know if it is real. I heard many years ago of a 65 bird somewhere in Australia that came with a factory 427 in it, have you guys ever heard of such a beast?

Hi Dan, great that you've found us & decided to join the circus. Always interesting hearing news of what's happening, TBird wise, from different corners of the globe.
Cheers, Paul.

Hi Dan
No idea on the 427 TBird, could it be an urban myth!!!!
Sure would be a nice thing to drive with a SOHC 427 cammer.

Yes it would be nice, but how in the hell could you fit that beautiful motor in the Thunderbird engine bay

There's one here in New Zealand up in the North Island, I was speaking to the son of the owner earlier this year.dansbirds wrote:Hey maybe you guys know if it is real. But whether it is a true factory instalation is a topic of debate for some - it does sound genuine but there's always the doubters.

Re: Hello all, just found this site
Why would you want a 427 in a Thunderbird, these cars are not about performance its all about luxury. if you want performance go get a shelby mustang POS, if i ever had engine problems i'll be recoing the original engine, it's all about keeping the numbers matching
